Is the portafilter included?
No. The station is the solid wood base only. The portafilter, tamper, distributor, dosing ring, brush and basket shown in the photos are demonstration items.
Will my 58 mm portafilter fit?
It is designed for compatible 58 mm portafilters, but collar geometry differs between machines. Check the shape of your portafilter collar against the cradle before ordering.
How do I care for the wood?
Wipe it with a dry or barely damp cloth. Standing water and dishwasher cycles are hard on solid wood, and the finish will dull if it stays wet.
How does it actually hold the portafilter?
The cradle steadies the portafilter instead of gripping it, so both hands stay free. Tamp straight down, then lift cleanly rather than twisting.
