Choose coffee tools around the brew you make and the equipment you already own. A pour-over setup needs a brewer, suitable grounds, hot water and something to brew into. Espresso preparation starts with a different system: an espresso-capable grinder, machine and compatible portafilter basket. Accessories should fill a specific gap in that system.
This guide separates the Slow Mill range into practical setups so you can choose a useful combination without buying every tool.
Starting from scratch: a portable one-cup pour-over kit
The Pour-Over Starter Kit — 6 Brewing Tools + Carrying Case contains:
- A manual coffee grinder.
- A 250 ml gooseneck kettle.
- A stainless steel cup.
- A reusable metal cone dripper.
- A small bean jar and coffee scoop.
- A protective carrying case for the set.
The case is additional to the six brewing tools. This kit does not contain a glass server or paper filters; its metal dripper is reusable. Supply your own beans and a way to heat water. It is a single-cup setup, rather than a batch brewer for a group.
Use the starter-kit guide to plan a first brew. For travel, check access to hot water before relying on a hotel-room coffee setup.
Already own a kettle and mug: add a brewer
The Clear PC Pour-Over Dripper + 50 Paper Filters gives you a dripper and matching paper filters. Confirm it rests securely on your mug or server. Coffee, kettle, mug and server are separate.
If you prefer a glass brewer-and-server arrangement, look at the Glass Cone Dripper Set and check its current contents. Do not assume the two sets use interchangeable filters simply because both are cone-shaped. Read the filter guide before buying replacements.
Already own a brewer: decide whether you need a grinder or scale
If you want to grind whole beans before brewing, consider the Manual Coffee Grinder Pro. Choose its color and burr version on the product page; the version names are not customer ratings. A separate grinder is optional if buying ground coffee already works for you.
If measuring is the missing step, a Mini Coffee Scale Prep Set can help you record coffee and water by mass. Check the selected set's contents. Use the pour-over ratio chart for a repeatable starting recipe rather than treating a scoop as an exact gram measurement.
Already make espresso: choose one preparation route
The 3-in-1 Espresso Prep Tool combines needle distribution, leveling and tamping. Choose it if keeping those functions in one item suits you. Follow the three-in-one tool guide and check your basket before selecting a size.
If you already have a tamper you like, a Rotary Espresso WDT Tool may fill only the distribution step. A spring tamper covers tamping separately. You do not need both a combined tool and a full set of separate accessories to begin. Check every item's fit independently using the basket and tamper size guide.
After the brew: add cleanup only if it helps
A brush, tray and cloth may be enough for your coffee corner. For small dry spills in accessible corners, the Coffee Station Mini Vacuum adds cordless pickup. Keep wet pucks and liquids out of it, and follow the cleanup and care guide.
Check these three things before buying together
- What is missing? Buy for the task your current setup cannot do conveniently.
- What fits? Check brewer support, filter shape and espresso basket measurements separately.
- What arrives? Confirm the chosen variant and included items. Separate products keep their own prices; check the final total and delivery options before payment.
